What yearly maintenance (AMC) covers
AMC covers software updates (including GST changes), fixes and support for a year. Without it, the software keeps working, but you won’t receive updates. Because GST rules change, most businesses keep AMC active.

Backups
Because data is on your computer, backups are your responsibility. Take regular backups to an external drive or another location, and test restoring one occasionally.

A day with the offline edition
- Morning Open the software on the shop computer. No login to the internet needed.
- Purchases Enter supplier bills; stock and input credit update.
- Billing Bill customers at the counter; on Standard and above, by barcode and on the POS screen.
- Evening Close the day and take a backup to an external drive.
- Month end Export GST return data and upload it on the GST portal when connected.

Moving from another desktop software
Export your items, customers, suppliers and balances to Excel from your current software. Our team imports them and helps you check opening stock and balances. Tally data import is included in the Professional edition and above.
Keeping your data safe
- Take a backup at the end of every day to an external drive.
- Keep a second copy somewhere other than the shop.
- Give each user their own login.
- Keep the computer updated and protected against viruses.
