GST across branches
Branch transfers and GST, handled properly
When stock moves from your warehouse to a branch in the same state, it goes on a delivery challan. When it moves to a branch in another state, the law treats it as a sale between two GST registrations, so it needs a proper tax invoice. Getting this wrong is one of the most common GST problems for growing chains.
Milaan ERP knows which GSTIN each store belongs to. It picks a challan or a tax invoice for each transfer on its own, and makes GST reports separately for each registration, along with one combined view for you.

Can I change a price in all branches at once?
Yes. Prices are kept in one list for the chain. Change a price or MRP at head office and every branch has the new price within minutes.
How do warehouse to branch transfers work?
Branches raise indents, or the warehouse sends stock based on sales. Goods go with a transfer note, and the branch scans them in on arrival so both stocks are right.
Can I run an offer only in some branches?
Yes. Create the offer once and choose the branches and dates it applies to.
Do loyalty points work across branches?
Yes. Points are saved against the customer’s phone number, so they can earn in one store and use them in another.
Will a branch stop billing if the internet is slow?
Each branch needs internet for the cloud plan, but a basic connection or mobile hotspot is enough to keep counters running. Many stores keep a hotspot as backup.
What if our stores are in different states?
Each state has its own GSTIN in Milaan ERP. Transfers to a branch in another state go out on a tax invoice, transfers within the same state on a delivery challan, and GST reports are made separately for each GSTIN.
How much does it cost for a chain?
Cloud plans start at ₹12,999 per year before 18% GST, and multi-branch management is part of the higher plans. For chains, the price depends on the number of stores, counters and users, so we give you a quote that fits your setup. There is a free 7-day trial either way.
Can you bring in data from our old software?
Usually yes. If your current software can export items, stock and customers to Excel, our team will import it for every branch during setup.
