Why we built it
One shirt, five sizes, four colours. That’s twenty items.
That is what makes a clothing store hard to run. A single design comes in many sizes and colours, and each one is its own piece of stock. Most billing software treats them as one item, so you never really know what is on the shelf until you go and look.
Then the season changes. Last winter’s jackets are still in the godown, new stock is arriving, and you are trying to decide what to put on sale. Without clear numbers, that decision is a guess.
Milaan ERP keeps every size and colour as its own line, but under one design. You see the full grid at a glance, print a barcode tag for each piece, and bill by scanning the tag. Exchanges take a few seconds, and stock stays right without a weekly count.

GST made simple
GST on clothes changes with price. We handle that.
Clothing is taxed by the selling price of each piece. Since the GST changes of September 2025, garments sold at up to ₹2,500 a piece are taxed at 5%, and pieces above ₹2,500 at 18%. A discount can move a piece from one slab to the other.
Milaan ERP checks the price of every piece on the bill, after discount, and applies the right rate on its own. Your staff don’t need to think about it, and your month-end figures are ready for your CA.
Tip: Set the price slab once in settings. If the rules change again, you update it in one place and every counter follows.

How does the size and colour matrix work?
You create a design once, for example a shirt, and pick the sizes and colours it comes in. Milaan ERP makes a separate stock line for each combination, so you can see how many blue L shirts you have without counting.
Can I print barcode tags with my existing printer?
Most likely, yes. Milaan ERP works with common thermal label printers used in garment shops. Our team will set up the tag layout with your shop name, design, size, colour and MRP during installation.
How do exchanges and returns work?
Find the original bill or scan the tag, take back the piece and scan the new one. Stock updates both ways. If the new piece costs more, the customer pays the difference; if less, you can refund or give a credit note.
How does it handle the 5% and 18% GST slabs on clothing?
The software looks at the selling price of each piece after discount. Up to ₹2,500 it applies 5%, above that 18%, as per the current rules. You can update the limit in settings if the government changes it.
Can I see which designs are not selling?
Yes. The stock age and slow-moving reports list designs that have been sitting for a long time, so you can put them on sale before the season ends.
Is it hard for my sales staff to learn?
No. Billing is mostly scanning tags. Most staff are comfortable after one short training session, and our support team is a phone call or WhatsApp message away.
How much does it cost?
The offline desktop plan starts at ₹9,999 as a one-time payment and online cloud plans start at ₹12,999 per year, both before 18% GST. Features such as barcode billing, batch tracking, e-invoicing and multi-location are in the higher plans, so tell us what you need and we’ll suggest the right one.
Can you move my data from my old software?
Usually yes. If your old software can export items and stock to Excel, our team will import it for you during setup.
