Most appliance businesses with more than one showroom keep only display pieces on the floor. The real stock sits in a central godown, and deliveries go out from there. A sale in one showroom often means a fridge leaving the godown, sometimes a unit borrowed from another branch, and an installation visit later.
With separate software in each showroom, the godown never knows what was sold where, serials are mixed up between branches, and finance dues are tracked in three different places.

GST across branches
Branch transfers and GST, handled properly
When stock moves from your warehouse to a branch in the same state, it goes on a delivery challan. When it moves to a branch in another state, the law treats it as a sale between two GST registrations, so it needs a proper tax invoice. Getting this wrong is one of the most common GST problems for growing chains.
Milaan ERP knows which GSTIN each store belongs to. It picks a challan or a tax invoice for each transfer on its own, and makes GST reports separately for each registration, along with one combined view for you.

Can a showroom sell stock that is in the central godown?
Yes. Showrooms see godown stock and can bill against it. The delivery is assigned to the godown, which sees it on its dispatch list.
Are serial numbers tracked between showrooms?
Yes. Transfers carry serials, so every unit’s location and history are always known.
Can I see finance dues for the whole chain?
Yes. One report shows how much each finance company owes, across all showrooms.
Can deliveries be planned centrally?
