GST across branches
Branch transfers and GST, handled properly
When clothing moves from your warehouse to a branch in the same state, it goes on a delivery challan. When it moves to a branch in another state, the law treats it as a sale between two GST registrations, so it needs a proper tax invoice. Getting this wrong is one of the most common GST problems for growing chains.
Milaan ERP knows which GSTIN each store belongs to. It picks a challan or a tax invoice for each transfer on its own, and makes GST reports separately for each registration, along with one combined view for you.

Can staff check sizes in other stores?
Yes. Search a design at any counter and see sizes and colours available in every branch and the warehouse.
Can we buy and tag centrally?
Yes. Enter purchases at the warehouse, print tags for every design, size and colour, and send stock to stores with transfer notes.
How do transfers between stores work?
Create a transfer note listing the pieces. The receiving store scans the tags when the goods arrive, and stock updates in both stores.
Can a sale run in only some stores?
Yes. Create the offer once and choose which branches and dates it applies to.
Does GST by price work the same in every store?
Yes. The 5% and 18% slabs based on price per piece are applied the same way at every counter in every branch.
What if our stores are in different states?
Each state has its own GSTIN in Milaan ERP. Transfers to a branch in another state go out on a tax invoice, transfers within the same state on a delivery challan, and GST reports are made separately for each GSTIN.
How much does it cost for a chain?
Cloud plans start at ₹12,999 per year before 18% GST, and multi-branch management is part of the higher plans. For chains, the price depends on the number of stores, counters and users, so we give you a quote that fits your setup. There is a free 7-day trial either way.
Can you bring in data from our old software?
Usually yes. If your current software can export items, stock and customers to Excel, our team will import it for every branch during setup.
