GST in Haryana
GST for Haryana businesses, done right
Businesses registered in Haryana have GSTINs starting with 06. Sales to customers within Haryana carry CGST and SGST; sales to Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh or any other state carry IGST. Diwali, Karva Chauth and the wedding season are the busiest months for retail. Agri businesses follow the rabi and kharif harvests. Since 22 September 2025, most goods are at 5% or 18% GST, so check that your item rates are up to date before the next busy season.
Tip: E-way bills are needed for inter-state movement of goods over ₹50,000. Haryana may set its own limit for movement within the state, so check the current rule.
